Frequently asked questions
Where will the 2030 FIFA World Cup be hosted?
FIFA awarded the 2030 tournament to a joint bid from Spain, Portugal, and Morocco as the primary hosts. Centenary opening matches will also be staged in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay to mark 100 years since the first World Cup.
When is World Cup 2030?
Exact match dates will be confirmed later in the cycle. Expect a mid-year window similar to recent tournaments; WorldCupHub will publish the official schedule as soon as FIFA releases it.
Why are Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay involved?
They are centenary hosts. FIFA’s Council decision celebrates the 1930 World Cup in Uruguay by awarding early matches to the three South American nations while the bulk of the tournament remains in Europe and Morocco.
Are 2030 host stadiums finalized?
Not yet for every city. FIFA and the host associations are still confirming venue lists. Our country hubs label cities as candidates until official confirmation.
